TELICITY Is Not Just a Verb Thing, Right?

TELIC comes from the word T-LOS, which means and and refers to the event structure of I was about to say verbs. And it has to do with is the event complete in some sense. So John built a house that implication does is that is done. Whereas you know, phrase like sleeping, Bob is sleeping or John is sleeping, that's a TELIC. Because while it will end, there's not necessarily an obvious and natural endpoint for that.
