The Perception of Danger in War Reporting

After Tim got killed I realized the light bulb went off because I watched that tragedy ripple out through everyone that loved him most his family and his friends. When you became a father how did that kind of that perception of danger change within yourself? You're gambling with their lives not your own life really you're betting with their lives my parents your your family your friends so I stopped I stopped cold after he died. By the time I had children I mean now I won't even cross the street if it's not a woklight  I'm so neurotically safe it's insane well what's an "Eco-driven" way to report on something like war in Iraq or Afghanistan,
