Hope as a Discipline
I don't feel like you have to quote have hope as some sort of emotion to me I do hope. also not a pessimist and the reason I'm neither is because I don't believe that I have the certainty of knowing whether things are going to turn out terribly or whether they're going to be perfect. For me hope as a discipline has always been about a daily practice an ongoing commitment to action and to learning again Discipline is as derived from the root decided to learn so I'm consistently reapplying it to myself on a regular basis if I had it as an emotion then I would be it would be very precarious.
