How Honest Are You in Your Rejections?

How honest are you in your rejections? What do ou mean? How honest am i? I don't know many cases in which it actually helps to tell the person why it is that you're rejecting them in ways that make them feel bad. But again, this goes back to this thin fiction that there's a way to separate the work from the person.
