Nica is acting in a way such that he can say he attempted, against all odds, to sow the seeds of healthy values within the european soil. Whether this ultimately works out or not, it doesn't really matter. The greater good that zarathustra's religion serves accords with nicha's conception of the good. He did entertain notions like breeding orf bringing forth in history a stronger, better europe, a better society. I don't think it's damning or fatal for his ideas that he may have had conflicting feelings - i think it's only human.
