There's an objective reality out there that is reflecting the same narrow spectrum of electromagnetic light into all of our eyes. And I think we're sort of culturally guided to report having the same experiences, even though we might be having quite different experiences. Evolution has ensured that brains in general are wired up to track whatever is out there in ways that are helpful for our survival. So it's no surprise that we have experiences that at least we tell each other a similar.
