Do Small Groups Prevent People From Challenge Misinformation?
In the small groups, they're more private. They tend to be interactions between people who are fairly like minded anyway. The problem with this is for the norm of conflict avoidance andd how that shapes whether or not people challenge misinformation. So it doesn't solve that problem, but it sort of makes it easier to avoid conflict. And one of the recommendations we make in the report is actually, people should be empowered to go a little step further and use the information that they get in these er moments of gauging and scaling.
