In 1958, Shrefoa becomes the only French critic that can't invite to a festival. He's like, our films don't do anything. They're not about anything. And so he becomes kind of this en fonte terivre, this like mean, nasty, young critic who just was... People thought was kind of cruel. The effect that he had on cinema is so apparent to me now. Like, I've seen all the films that he has inspired. His fingerprint is on so much or this film's fingerprints are on so much.
