The Emotion of Conflict
In addition to the emotions of joy and sadness, there's also the emotion of conflict. And so what I'm witnessing now is both generations are being raised to be collaborative but don't always have time in which to do that. We're not teaching them how to give and receive feedback sometimes in a pretty abrupt way. When they first get it, they're having the amygdala hijacking going to acute risk responses and locking up.
