The Misunderstanding of Tolkien

Tolkien wrote a story in which there is very little to know ritualized religion. He's openly acknowledged at several points much more as you go back into the historical, historical accounts of the first age and the second age and so forth. Tolkien doesn't think any of this actually happened in that way. What he's saying is that the real story of the real world has a time before Christianity.
