How to Be Fully Present in the Room

"I have encounters where I'm fully immersed with the patient and I think I have some encounters unfortunately where because of what I bring into the room usually, I don't find myself fully present in the room," she said. "That's why this is such a difficult skill to learn because there are all of these relational things that are happening but I've got to observe while I'm doing something."
