Cal Ames' New Benefit Will Help People Stabilize Their Lives
In the first six months of 2022, more than 81,000 Californians have received what's called enhanced care management. Cal Ames is helping people like Dale stabilize their lives under the assumption that it will lead to them taking better care of their health. Some questions are simply aimed at the program's mechanics. Will the program find enough social service providers to offer these new services? Can those providers adapt to the bureaucratic administrative burdens of Medicaid?
