Lauren Greene: I used to do exercises with an old writing group where we'd write the worst version of a scene that we could possibly think of. She said it was so much fun and actually what always happened is some discovery was made or little nugget came out of it. Greene says you can't beat yourself up because you're not there but look at every day did you sit down and write achievement more than 70 percent 80 percent 90 percent of people they want to be writers did today.
