There is a literal cost for shipping all this java script. People do that all the time with crypto, and youno, in my opinion, justifiably so. And then there's a really slow kind of petering off of the tooling as more people realize they don't need it any more. The most recent example of this, i should say most recent, but i think the shiniest example of this was jay query. You know now you can write five scripts at once, it'll work everywhere.
