The Importance of Trust in Public Sector Procurement

Public sector procurement tends to be very sterile deliberately. Often at the end of a long procurement exercise vendor and client can actually feel outright antagonism to each other because they've been through so untrusting that it's set up for failure from the outset. A lack of trust is a self offending prophecy, he says. If you are a consumer of vendor services trusting them will get more from them than if you don't trust in them from the outset but I have seen far too many people who see from the outset that all vendors are out to screw them.
