The Universal Basic Income

I would love to have some universal basic income, I think it's a great idea. The reason why do people work is to put food on the table but everybody feels they will earn more money if they work hard and get better at their job. But imagine if you were 25 or 30 and you didn't have to work because you get this amount of money regardless of no one expects you to work. If you are only happy when you're doing something, you can do something. It just won't be for money. So that boils down to asking, do people only do things for money?
