What Is Your Only Comfort in Life and Death?
The heyderberg catechism, first question to answer, what is your only comfort in life and death? And i just love this question, because it begins n a place that i resinate with it. It's like an existential dread like it assumes that you're feeling great discomfort, both in your life and in the fear of death. The answer that the the catechism gives, you know, pulling from the scriptures, is that we are not our own, but we belong, body and soul, life and death, to jesus christ.
