It's such a weird state of the union we're in for XR right now, but specifically the meta ecosystem because meta makes good hardware. They make good software. There's a lot to like if you ignore all the, like, ethics and privacy concerns. From a developer perspective, they make it really, really difficult by dealing with things like Oculus and meta and renaming plugins. The budget for meta last year for reality labs was over $13 billion.
