Then You Float Your Boat

evangelicalism is supposed to be all about the authority of scripture. But so many people want to immediately go past the text to the event self. We don't have a time machine to lorry an that i can get in and observe for ourselves what happened. So i assume the events happen. I assume the people existed. But the fact is, what i need to get from the bible's truth is what the narrator has to say about them. And regardless of whether i can prove that the events happened, or whether i can proved that the people existed, the narrator is giving me a theological interpretation of those people and events that i need to take seriously as god's work.
