The Role of Arbitration in Conflict Resolution

Some people recoil from a system like that because they say, no, there's got to be rule. They just go and get it settled through something. But then it's at least settling disputes. Like that is valuable per se. Not good for anybody if a sizable chunk of the population is tied up in a dispute with somebody else. You want people cooperating and creating stuff. And I don't just mean mouse traps, also writing novels and painting paintings and so forth.
