Codename One Is Still Around, but It's Not as Good as Son's Android
Shai: Maybe if Sun had embraced Luit early on or even used their OS experience and their hardware abilities to tackle mobile in a unified way, maybe they would have been a player in the smartphone world today. Shai thinks that Android is not as good as what Son could have made and the better JVM's exist. And he thinks it's a shame that the JVM is now relegated to the server side and to Android apps.
