The Separation of Church and State

I think we sort of pride ourselves on separation of church and state. How does this work out? We can advocate for our ethical vision as christians without legislating a particular christian ethic. This is a really good example of ethics in practice. So it's a good experiment ground, you might say. i don't believe in separatismand i do think the christians have something to say... But there's reason to set on that out of respect for the fact that,. at least in america, we live in a pluralistic, democratic, religiously disestablished context.
