Is Australia a Leader in Innovation?

Australia is great at innovation, says Em O'Neill. But that doesn't always translate to better outcomes for patients. A largely private health care system means efficiency is often the first and foremost thing you care about - even above quality and safety. And i think this is one of the reasons why we get such good value for money out of the australian health care system.
