I think that writing about strategic readiness from the demand side, and how do we ensure that we are measuring our progress in such a way that it actually makes sense? It will require a very specific definition of what that ultimate demand signal is. I think maybe one down the road also might be relative readiness. We're no longer measuring ourselves against how ready we were last week. Now what matters is the competition. How do we assess their readiness and ours relative to them? But readiness is only important if it gives you advantage. It's a relative thing.
