What Is Fear?
Mendelsohn: Fear is an unpleasant and usually strong emotion tied to anticipation or awareness of danger. When we feel fear, if we're aware of it, we can recognize we're actually feeling it in our body, says Mendelsohn. "We delineate fear with an anticipation of danger from anxiety," he adds. 'And that's where these strong emotions are, you know, the khinesthetic pathways'
