SQL X and Orms

The way that we were using diesel wasn't leveraging like typically how you would reach for an orm. We weren't using it like, you know, like active record and rails where it's kind of mixed in with your code. The idea of orms really in general in my experience never seems to work out to be as nice as writing the raw queries by hand.
