Analysis of the Patch Trauma Study and TXA Use in Trauma Patients
Exploring the results of the Patch Trauma Study, this chapter delves into the effectiveness of tranexamic acid (TXA) in enhancing patient survival within a high-performing trauma system. While functional outcomes at six months showed no major disparity, the data revealed a notable increase in 28-day survival rates among those administered with TXA, in line with prior TXA research.
