The National Convention of Saint Domain

On february third, 17 94, the tri color commission were presented to the national convention. The next day, louis du fay delivered a stirring speech in defence of the second commission and emancipation. But critically, duffet blew right past the moral reasons for ending slavery because nobody cares much about that. He focused exclusively on the roll the freed slaves, now free citizens, would play in defending the republic in the caribbean.
