The Serpent's Teaching of Wisdom
The serpent comes in to teach them about wisdom so that they can become a king. But if he hasn't been yet, he's just about to be corrupted by Satan. Behind this serpent is the chief of the angels who is supposed to instruct Adam and Eve. If he hasn't already gone bad a few minutes ago, he's going to go bad during this conversation. And what it means is to undergo good death and then be resurrected to glory. In a sense, Jesus dies twice. He dies for three hours to pay for our sins. Then he says it's accomplished. And then he just breathes out his spirit.
