Wild Mammal Biomass - What's the Main Thrust?
Hallo Ritchie: The decline in the biomass of wild animals has been remarkable, falling by about 85% since the beginning of humankind. Several hundred of the largest mammals have become extinct, either through hunting or habitat destruction. Pets and other domestic animals weren't included in this study,. But for mother studies, scientists have determined they would make up less than 1% of the total biomass figure.
