The Importance of a Balanced Diet for Runners

A balance of 57% carbohydrate, 25% protein, and 18% fat was really ideal for the runner. The needs of an endurance athlete are going to be different than a sedentary person or somebody who's lifting weights like bodybuilders just don't have. Getting 260 grams of protein is extremely important for a runner. And so that's why we came up with those numbers from all the data that we found from our 30 day challenge.
