The Lord Never Writes Anything Except in the Sand

The Lord never wrote down anything except in the sand when they had taken the prostitute in threatening to stone her. That's really the only time in scripture that we see him writing down anything, as far as I can remember. He doesn't write down anything in terms of giving us a book, like other prophets and other religions have done. So the Lord wrote down nothing. Instead of written words he promised that he would give them the grace of the spirit.
