Kabala and Christian Gnosticism

Kabala is a movement that listeners may be aware of in christian history known as gnosticism. Gnosticism claims that it's based on secret knowledge that i has been passed down. There are enough technical dissimilarities between the kabala and ancient gnosticism to show that they're not quite that similar.
