In the book, you describe yourself as having the heart of a naturalist and the head of a scientist. The bones of someone who is already wearied by the apathy and destruction wielded against the natural world. When did you start feeling this way in your bones and how does that feeling affect your approach to being a naturalist? And i think the weariness has sort of faded a little bit, because i've realized that weariness gets nothing done any more.
