The Skalasangta in Jerusalem

St. John's Lateran is a much newer church in style, but it has been redone a lot. Americans tend to be more fussy about whether something was original. The Skalasangta are the steps which were supposedly taken from Pilots Palace in Jerusalem. They were taken back in the Crusades and basically reconstructed in Rome.
