I've heard from acrobatic pilots that it's very difficult to actually nose straight down 90 degrees. The first officer then cried out, and the aircraft hit the ground at six o eight and 34 seconds. Only 36 seconds had passed since the first officer asked the captain to retract the slats,. 32 seconds when the first officers asked the captain if he was all rightso even that, yo, that had just happened a few seconds before the plane crashed. That's crazy how fast things went. Poorly they weren't. They didn't have very much altitude o they went very high off the ground.
