The Progress of Human Civilization
The progression of an intelligent civilization tends to be deeper and deeper to the ground of reality. We have no idea what an intelligence like that would look like, right? But this is how you progress in one direction, in one direction. The Large Hadron Collider is about understanding the fundamental structure of our reality. That's where we're trying to get. It's more likely to be that the civilization will instantiate themselves at the lowest level of reality,. exploiting the fundamental computational structure of reality. They are practically invisible. There's no way we would know how to communicate with them.
