The Cost of Technology in the Age of Globalization
When do you draw the line with respect to when the costs are unbearable or outweighing the benefits derived from tech? Sure. Peter Thiel has a great essay from the mid 2000s called The Optimistic Thought Experiment. He says once technology is out of the bottle, you don't really put it back in. A lot of these problems are actually solved through another form of technology we haven't talked about: social technology.
