Is It a Good Idea to Work on a Weekend?

In many of the B.A.T. companies working on a set on a weekend gives you two x pay. It's just pressure is not policy right it's just like that the kind of atmosphere people are working in because of the sheer numbers of competing grads and so on. I don't think it's a good thing to encourage but they do talk about it is like I want to work... But if it's like cultural no matter what happens it's always going to be like this even when China becomes a rich country, then that'd be pretty cool.
