To recap, when you think about patients with thyroid storm or have a history of hyperthyroidism specifically in situations with surgery,. It's really important to be on top of it ahead of time and generally done with PTU, methamazole, iodine. In the situation where a patient doesn't improve with treatment within 48 hours, they would potentially need something like a thyroidectomy or plasma for ESAS.
