Donna Brazile: Why I can't have the fifth piece of candy or why I can't stay home from school is usually a dead end intellectually. When we first got married, my wife and I discussed whether we're going to hit our children. My wife said, absolutely not. And she agreed with her reluctantly, but I've been extremely glad that we made that decision. But what I love about this total ban on corporal punishment is that there's no invoking it out of anger; you know they deserved it.
