The Rights of Black People Are Being Invigorated by the Supreme Court

The court had a lot of questions to answer about how to apply those principles in real life. Little by little, it didn't all happen at once, but over a whole generation, every one of those questions, the court decided in the narrowest possible way. Ten times as many cases dealt with the rights of corporations as dealt with black people. Any effort to regulate how these big corporations operated was struck down under the fourteenth amendment.
