The Colorado Parks and Wildlife began to investigate this. They initially said there was some evidence of depredation that they attributed to a large canine. But then it was determined that some of these cattle, it seemed like they just dropped dead. There was no clear discernible evidence. The idea that wolves are any other kind of a predator might have killed cattle is probably not interesting to the most of the people out there.
