Is the Quanttum Field One Dimensional?

In our current theory, right, electrons and corks are zero dimensional. They are just point particles that have no length, no width, no height. So this just takes it and stretches it out and makes it one dimensional. Says it has length, but no width and no height, and that it can vibrate.
