How to File a Copyright

The Supreme Court a few years ago ruled that it needs to actually have been registered before you can sue someone. What I find to be the most useful benefit of a trademark registration isn't the protection you get later on, but it's the protection you can get from the beginning. So with games specifically, most of the time a developer or designer will come up with a game name and they're not actually going to get that game into consumers' hands for another couple years.
