There's a large Irish contingent in Liverpool. I went to university there for about four years. And it lived in a house with a few guys from Northern Ireland. They would take me and my friend Neil to scruffy Murphy's, which is an Irish chain pub. We would sit down and drink Guinness and also buy whiskey as well. It was new to me that I would never drink a beer and whiskey sort of at the same time. But yeah, after a couple of pints and a couple of glasses of whiskey, we would emerge from the pub kind of glowing. You know, and then we would go pregnant.
