The Eco-Socialism of the Environmental Movement

I want to leave us on a note of you know maybe some optimism is the eco-socialism that you call for at the end of the book. Is this reflection of your belief that the environmentalist movement has is on to something in its critique or is there something else at play? I am optimistic and and I'll tell you why as we end the interview here I'll refer to why but I think yes that I think that the environmental movement  is definitely on a clear on a conscious collision course with capitalism because at this point it's so obvious and evident the implacable expansion of capital not just urban you know fossil capital is is threatening to collapse the whole biosphere.
