The Idiom of Parliament

There is a very particular idiom to Parliament, which is about the mood in that tiny cramped chamber. When Tory MPs was starting to lose faith in Boris Johnson, there was a PMQ's where they just didn't turn up. You can't really see that on TV. The BBC aren't allowed to say, actually, give us the cameras over in that corner. That's much more interesting than the person who's speaking. They're basically quite constrained.
