It must be very a helpful to chinese politicians to be able to make references to the past. And which is much more difficult for western leaders to day, because of the paucity of historical knowledge amongst the m amongst the populations. But we can't do that in an inner society where you control theam education in the way that the chinese can do. We can only speculate as to what might have happened if this dialogue had started. Whether the war might not have started, or wherther wol have started on different terms and would have been easier to to settle sotha?
