Dominant Seventh Chords - What Are They?

Brent: dominant seventh chords are so interesting, as there's just so many different things we can actually do to them. So if you're a piano guitar player, like work out some different voicings, a different way to play these because they sound a little different depending on where you're playing it on your instrument. Brent: Instead of using extensions, use substitutions of actual core tones. The root flat three is the same note as the 13th, the 13th just knocked off higher.
